Jill Dailey is a true innovator of the dance barre fitness revolution on the West Coast. A degreed Kinesiologist, Jill’s true passion is helping people transform their lives through fitness. Seeking the most advanced methods to sculpt the body, Jill became an early trainee of the famed Lotte Berk method. Taking what she learned through the Lotte Berk program in New York City and her background in Pilates,

Jill brought the ballet barre to California, opening her first Dailey Method studio in San Francisco’s Marina District in 2000.For over 2 decades she has never lost sight of her original goal of improving the lives of those she teaches. Jill loves The Dailey Method because it gives people confidence, community, and a way to effect positive change in their lives. A strong focus on alignment and balancing the body is at the forefront of each class. Focusing on micro-movements and stretches to strengthen and condition the entire body she continually delivers fresh, evolving workouts—and incredible results.Jill has placed a strong emphasis (and passion) on continually evolving the method through thought and gained knowledge. She has also cultivated a strong, all-female-driven company that provides a healthy work/life balance for everyone on her team. She strongly believes finding balance makes for a happier and more fulfilled life overall.Finding inspiration from the human body and movement, two mantras (and hashtags) that can often be seen in Jill’s Instagram feed are 1) #alwaysbeastudent – Jill feels we can always continue to learn more and see things in a different way by taking classes and exposing ourselves to different ideologies and 2) #livingadaileylife – which to Jill, means being happy, enjoying life, having a community, eating healthy, loving to work out and enjoying time with family and friends.

Living a Dailey Life is living a balanced life. The Dailey Method currently has 15 Flagship studios and a robust Online platform offering Livestream and on-demand classes in all of the Dailey Method formats. Her new venture is a certification and Licensing program that helps individuals learn how to continually improve their own practice as well as an opportunity to teach the best barre classes to their own communities whether it’s online, at a gym or any place that their community supports.
